Welcome to my corner of this vast bundle of tubes we call the Internet.
Grave Gamer isn't as morbid as it might at first sound. This site is a portfolio of some of my favorite work in writing, digital art, and video game design, because in a tech-savvy world dominated by Facebook and Justin Bieber, it's important to carve out a little corner of the internet you can call your own.
First, a little about me. I'm a writer, gamer, podcast host, digital artist, horror fan, and longtime toast enthusiast. I have a Bachelors in Game Art & Design I received from Expression College, a place that taught me the deeper intricacies of creating video games from concept to full realization within a game engine.
The reel below showcases my eye for detail, ability to conceptualize and create a working game level, as well as my aptitude with software like Maya, Unreal and Photoshop. When many creative types such as myself have set a clear goal they'd like to pursue, my net is a little wider. What I know without a doubt is that whatever it is I end up doing with my life it will be in the video games industry. Video games are exciting because they're ultra-competitive, fast-paced, and constantly evolving. Plus, you get to get to work with some intensely cool people. These are all things I love.
It might sound like a cliché, but I don't mind getting a little sappy sometimes. Video games aren't just a hobby or a 9-to-5 job for me, this is an industry I'm incredibly passionate about and it's something I can see myself doing for many, many years. I hope you'll see this reflected in my work.
